- Description: 6th Light Horse
At one time he had 23 boils on his neck while in the desert while pushing the Turks out of Palestine.
Another time they were moving on horseback in the night. He fell asleep on his horse which walked up to walk beside the lead horse, which happened to be the Colonel's horse. The Colonel did not mind and let him sleep beside him as they walked through the night.
